About
Who I am
My name is Nausica Ferrandi and my research is born from the meeting of art, material and fashion.
I don't create to follow a trend. I create to give shape to a personal language, made of colour, material, nature and experimentation.
Over time, my path has crossed different worlds, from art to design to fashion, but with one constant: the search for something authentic, not simply beautiful to look at, but able to tell a story.
My creative journey
My passion for art was born when I was a child and has stayed with me over the years, through many different experiences.
After getting close to the world of furnishing and interior finishes, in 2015 I opened a shop in the heart of Bergamo dedicated to unique, tailor-made design solutions.
Closing that business in 2020 became a moment of change and reflection. That's when I returned to devote myself fully to my research, making room for new forms of expression and experimentation.
Today my research moves between art, fabric and fashion. I'm interested in how an idea can become material, surface, colour, and finally something to live in and wear.
In 2024 I took part in Art3f Monaco, an experience that fits within my artistic and creative journey.
In my projects, nature becomes a source of inspiration, fabric a surface to explore, and the artisanal gesture an integral part of the creative process.
I believe in the value of time, in research and in things made with care.
Every creation comes from a process that leaves room for material and for the unpredictable, because it is exactly what cannot be fully replicated that makes an object authentic.
