A language made of colour, material and research
Painting is the starting point of Nausica Ferrandi's artistic research, a language through which to explore colour, material, sensations and inspiration.
I have always looked to painting for a space of expression and experimentation, letting colour and material guide the creative process.
My works are also designed for collectors, boutiques, hotels, concept stores and spaces wishing to bring contemporary artistic research into their own environment.
The artistic research
Over time I've explored materials, techniques and different forms of expression, following curiosity and the need to experiment. I'm interested in the dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, between known techniques and new expressive possibilities.
Each work is born this way from a personal research, in which colour and material become tools to give shape to what I feel and imagine.
